How Do I refer to you?

We love referrals, but patients don’t need one to see a physio :) Ít does make it easier for us to communicate and include you though. Feel free to refer to any of our locations, if you would like to send us a referral, handover or Medicare Care plan please email to info@facialphysio.com.au OR fax or 9166 7911

We are happy to post referral pads and business cards. If you are interested please let us know.

Are you the right practice for my patient?

We know this is a weird and wonderful area! We are really happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction. We don’t see patients for the sake of it, if it does not sound amenable to physio we will point you and your patient in the right direction :) If you just have a question or would like to discuss a patient please contact us via phone (02) 9712 1242 and our receptionists will put you through to us for anything urgent OR shoot us an email info@facialphysio.com.au or specifically: ellie@facialphysio.com.au, bec@facialphysio.com.au or alex@facialphysio.com.au

Do you accept Medicare care plans and/or Private health?

Yes we do! We accept Medicare plans - we take $10 off our consult fees for Medicare care plans. So there is still a gap to pay. We also accept Private health insurance and can process Medicare or Private health on the spot. Unfortunately you can’t use both at the same time.

We do also have access to the Public Facial Nerve Clinic at Prince of Wales hospital. This is entirely covered by Medicare and is fabulous for patients who you feel will need both a Medical Facial nerve Specialist opinion and physiotherapy. We see patients in a combined appointment with Dr Catherine Meller and the Facial nerve team. Please contact us if you feel this is appropriate for your Facial nerve patient and have a look at Dr Catherine Meller’s website for referral to the clinic. Patients will need a valid referral from their GP to attend this outpatient clinic and being a public clinic is subject to waitlists. For more info check our www.doctorcath.com.au
