Initial Consult

What does this involve? Physiotherapists take a detailed medical history and talk to you about what you hope to get out of physiotherapy. We then perform an extensive assessment to ensure that you have a clear on concise treatment plan that is specific to you and your goals. In this assessment we also determine/confirm diagnosis if needed and ensure that you are safe and appropriate for physiotherapy management. Treatment in started in this consult.

Cost:
Initial consult $210/205

Our combo consult includes a full face and vestibular assessment so we can come up with a complete plan of attack for you. If we have enough time we will also start you on treatment. Baseline testing, goal setting and education are essential in treating these conditions efficiently and well. Do it once and do it right is out moto!

Follow up appointment: long and short

This is where treatment really gets going. This involves any hands on, exercise and education based treatment. Hands on physiotherapy involves a wide variety of techniques based on what was found in the assessment and we very person to person. I aim to teach patients how to treat themselves where ever possible. Ellie will advise you on whether she thinks you need a long or short consult. When teaching self treatment, technique is very important, so having adequate time to get this right means less appointments overall.

Cost:

Long Consult: $210/205
Duration: up to 1hr

Standard consult $155
Duration: up to 45min

Short Consult: $130
